1. What should I expect during my first appointment?
During your initial assessment, a qualified therapist will discuss your history, assess your condition, and develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.
2. Do I need a referral from my GP?
No referral is needed to book an appointment with us. You can just call or email to get booked in.
3. How long are treatment sessions?
Most treatment sessions last between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your condition and treatment plan.
4. Can I claim treatment costs on my private health insurance?
Yes, we’re registered with major insurers such as BUPA, WPA, Nuffield and AXA. We can invoice them directly, but you are responsible for any shortfall or excess.
5. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid cancellation fees. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged.
6. Are your therapists qualified?
Yes, all our physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and sports therapists are fully qualified and registered with their respective professional bodies.
7. Is physiotherapy painful?
Treatment may cause some discomfort, especially when addressing tight muscles or injuries, but therapists work carefully to ensure your comfort and safety.
8. How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your condition and progress. Your therapist will discuss a recommended treatment plan during your assessment.
9. Do you offer virtual consultations?
Please contact us to find out about the availability of online or telephone consultations, however we do prefer a face to face appointment.
10. Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Yes, you can bring a family member or friend for support. If you would like a chaperone during your treatment, please let us know in advance.
11. Which Insurances do you work with:
We work with most major health insurance providers, including Aviva, AXA, Bupa, H3, Nuffield, Vitality, and WPA. If your insurer isn’t listed when you book online, please get in touch—we’ll check if we have approval.
