Professional Care

You will always be assessed and treated by a qualified physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or sports therapist, depending on your needs.

Our physiotherapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP). All treatments follow the CSP’s code of practice.

Your consultation and treatment will be one-to-one (unless otherwise agreed) and conducted in the privacy of a treatment room. Chaperones are available upon request—please notify us in advance so we can arrange staff accordingly. If a chaperone is requested but unavailable, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. Typically, a female receptionist acts as the chaperone.

Private Health Insurance Claims

Centrepoint Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation is registered with major insurance providers, including BUPA and AXA, and can invoice them directly. However, you remain responsible for any shortfall in payment. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged directly to you.

Please check with your insurance provider before treatment to confirm:

  • Your coverage for the condition being treated

  • Any policy excess you are responsible for

  • Any fee caps or limits on treatment coverage

Clinic Appointments

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your therapist will decide whether treatment can proceed.

Payment Terms

Initial consultations for private patients must be paid at booking. Payment for all other treatments is due at the time of treatment or within 7 days of invoicing. Accepted payment methods are listed on your invoice.

Insurance & Regulation

Centrepoint Physiotherapy Ltd holds professional indemnity insurance for your treatment. All physiotherapists are registered with the HCPC and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).

Consent and Conduct

Clients must consent to assessment and treatment. Respectful behaviour is expected during sessions; aggressive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Additional consent is required for audio/video recording or sharing reports with other professionals.

Withdrawal

You may withdraw from therapy at any time. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any booked appointments to avoid cancellation fees.
